Public Speaking Training – level 2

Friday, 16 May 2025, 9:00-17:00
t.b.a

Public speaking demands we are on point with our content and use proper and relevant body language. Mastering public speaking is important to gain confidence and embrace opportunities throughout your career.

With the course “Public speaking 1 – fundamentals”, you learned the basics of public speaking (how to stand, where to look, how to build a captivating introduction, how to use your voice etc.)
With “Public speaking 2” the objective is for you to have more in-depth practice (we will work with a smaller group of participants) and to share with you more advanced tools.

Topics we will cover:
- how to answer questions
- how to prepare for difficult audiences
- how to be comfortable with the ‘unexpected’
- how to manage your stress
- how to improve your storytelling skills
- how to conclude with a dynamic ending

Please note that these public speaking courses are very useful to prepare for your thesis defense as well as for job talks. By polishing your public speaking skills, you will gain confidence and better credibility.

Please bring a presentation with you that you want to practice with.
(Please include an introduction that catches your audience’s attention and at least 3 simple, clear and visually stunning slides with titles that speak for themselves).

Mélanie Le Gall is a theater actress and a public speaking trainer. She graduated from EM Lyon Business School and after studying abroad, specialized in international marketing (Procter & Gamble, L'Oréal). She was then hired in New York by the Fromageries Bel as a business developer & market analyst for the entire Latin America region.
In New York, she switched to professional acting. She worked with Russian and American directors for Off-Broadway plays and wrote and produced her own solo performances.
Mélanie returned to Paris in 2016, and in parallel to pursuing her acting and singing career, decided to put her skills at the service of training and support for leaders and managers in public speaking.
