HQS Quantum Simulations GmbH was a spin-off from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2017 to bridge the gap between research and industry in the field of quantum computing. We want to harness the immense potential of quantum computing to accelerate the development of new materials in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and materials industries. The startup’s software works on conventional computers but can be easily transferred to quantum computers. HQS Quantum Simulations uses this approach to pursue its goal of putting companies and scientists in a position to switch their simulation workflows over quickly and efficiently to quantum computers once they are available.
Zurich Instruments makes cutting-edge instrumentation for scientists and technologists in advanced laboratories who are passionate about phenomena that are notoriously difficult to measure. The company’s hardware offering includes lock-in amplifiers, quantum computing control systems, impedance analyzers, and arbitrary waveform generators. Zurich Instruments employs PhD-level professionals with different scientific backgrounds in its teams of application scientists and technical sales representatives. In a company environment where there is freedom to take responsibility and space to create, every product launched or solution delivered comes from innovation-driven teamwork.
AnaPico is an ISO9001 certified technology leader developing, manufacturing, and supplying RF and microwave test and measurement instruments for a wide range of civil and governmental applications. AnaPico has been heavily investing in R&D and is dedicated to creating and continuously improving our innovative and cost-efficient T&M solutions that have best-in-class performance and unique features. The company’s main products are RF and Microwave Signal Sources up to 50 GHz, analog and vector, single- and multi-channel models, and the Signal Source Analyzers, and the main applications are among others: Quantum Computing, Wireless Communication, Radar / EW, Academic R&D.
Thanks to features like low phase noise, fast switching, multi-channel phase coherence, compact and low power-consuming, etc., our MW sources are well suited to Quantum Computing application. AnaPico has delivered various signal sources to world-wide about 40 Quantum Computing Labs.
QuantWare is a TU Delft/QuTech spin-out that develops, designs and fabricates scalable, superconducting quantum processors. By supplying these processors to third parties, QuantWare allows them to build a quantum computer for 1/10th of the costs of competing solutions. The company develops technology that will massively scale the number of qubits in a single processor, to create processors that can perform useful quantum computation in the near term.
